Lying Cable Curl
Biceps · Cable
How to do it
Lie on your back on the floor or a bench with your head towards a low pulley fitted with a straight or EZ bar, gripped underhand with your arms extended towards the pulley. **With the elbows fixed**, curl the bar bending only the forearm to your forehead and lower slowly. Lying down there is no way to swing or use your back, and the cable gives constant tension. The classic mistake is letting the elbows flare out: they point at the ceiling all set.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
