Leverage Decline Chest Press
Chest · Machine
How to do it
Set the seat so the handles sit at the level of your **lower** chest at the start. Chest and head up, shoulder blades pinched and flat. Press by extending the elbows, hold a second out front and come back **without letting the stops touch** until the set is done: that way the muscle never rests. You feel it in the lower chest and the triceps. The classic mistake is the seat: leave it low and the handles end up at neck height, turning it into an awkward shoulder press.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
