Incline Push-Up Reverse Grip
Chest · Bodyweight
How to do it
Same as the incline push-up, but gripping the bar **with your palms facing you**. Hands at shoulder width, feet back and body straight. Lower your chest to the bar slowly and press. That grip turns the shoulder outwards and moves the work to the upper chest and the biceps, which genuinely joins in here. It asks a lot of the wrist, so start with a high support and short sets. The classic mistake is going as deep as in the normal version: the useful range ends earlier, as soon as you feel it pull at the wrist.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
