Incline Dumbbell Bench With Palms Facing In
Chest · Dumbbell · ×2 dumbbells
You hold two: the weight you log is ONE dumbbell's, and volume counts both.
How to do it
Bench at 30 degrees, a dumbbell in each hand, palms facing each other. Bring them to shoulder width with the elbows under the wrists and lower beside your ribs until you feel the chest stretch, breathing in; press as you breathe out. With the palms turned in the elbows travel close to the body and the front of the shoulder gets a rest, so this is the version for days when a normal press nags. You feel it high on the chest. The classic mistake is letting the elbows flare halfway through the set without noticing: once they flare, it is a different exercise.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
