Front Two-Dumbbell Raise
Shoulders · Dumbbell · ×2 dumbbells
You hold two: the weight you log is ONE dumbbell's, and volume counts both.
How to do it
Standing with a dumbbell in each hand in front of your thighs, palms towards your body and elbows slightly bent. Raise **both together** in front to shoulder height and lower over four counts. Ribs down and glutes squeezed from the start: with both hands loaded, your whole body wants to lean back as a counterweight. You feel the front delt and upper chest. The classic mistake is exactly that lean; if your lower back arches, drop the weight or do it with your back against a wall.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
