Front Incline Dumbbell Raise

You hold two: the weight you log is ONE dumbbell's, and volume counts both.

How to do it

Sit **facing away** on a bench set between 30 and 60 degrees, a dumbbell in each hand hanging behind your body. With the elbow slightly bent, raise your arms in front to shoulder height and lower slowly. Starting with the arm behind your body line, the front delt begins stretched and the range is far longer than standing. Change the bench angle to move the hard point. The classic mistake is the weight: with that starting stretch you will lift noticeably less.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
