Frog Sit-Ups
Core · Bodyweight
How to do it
Lie on your back with your legs straight. Bend your knees and **put the soles of your feet together letting your knees fall out**, like a frog. Hands beside your head. Curl up towards your feet and lower slowly. That leg position takes almost all the hip flexors out of the equation, so the abs work far more cleanly than in a normal sit-up. The classic mistake is pulling on your neck: your hands rest, they do not pull.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
