Flat Bench Leg Pull-In

How to do it

Lie on a flat bench with your legs off the end and your hands under your glutes or holding the bench. Extend your legs out, almost parallel to the floor, and from there **draw them to your chest bending the knees and lifting your hips**; extend slowly to return. The bench lets your legs drop below your body line, which lengthens the range. The classic mistake is letting the lower back arch as you extend: if it lifts off the bench, you have gone too low.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
