Finger Curls
Forearms · Barbell
How to do it
Sit with a barbell gripped underhand at shoulder width and your forearms on your thighs, wrists past your knees. **Let the bar roll down to your fingertips**, opening your hand fully, then close it curling your fingers back to a full grip; lift the wrist slightly at the end. It works the finger flexors, which are what hold a deadlift. The classic mistake is not letting the bar roll to your fingertips: that is where the whole range is.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
