Clean from Blocks

How to do it

Same as the clean, but with the bar resting on boxes or stands at whatever height you want to train, usually above or below the knee. Set up, grip, and from there extend hips and knees hard, shrug and drop under to catch it on your shoulders. Removing the floor start lets you **drill the part that fails you over and over** without the fatigue of the full pull. The classic mistake is relaxing your back before pulling: the position is built completely before the bar moves, exactly as from the floor.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
