Cable Wrist Curl
Forearms · Cable
How to do it
Set a bench in front of a low pulley with a straight bar. Sit, rest your forearms on your thighs with **palms up** and your wrists past your knees, gripping the bar. Let the wrist open fully downwards, even letting your fingers uncurl, and **close it lifting the bar with the wrist**, squeezing at the top. The cable keeps tension at the bottom, where a barbell curl has nothing. The classic mistake is moving your elbow: only the wrist moves.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
