Barbell Ab Rollout
Core · Barbell
How to do it
Get into a push-up position but **with your hands on a barbell loaded with small plates** so it rolls. Body straight from heels to head. Let the bar roll forward, extending your arms and body, as far as you can still brake, and pull back with your abs. It is a standing ab rollout, the hardest version there is. **Only once you own the kneeling one.** The classic mistake is the lower back arching as you extend: the moment it arches, you stop and come back.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
