How to do it
Put the balance board in front of you, step on and find the point where it sits level, with neither edge touching the floor. **Hold it there**, knees only just unlocked and eyes on a fixed point: looking down throws you off. Ankle, calf and the whole foot work correcting non-stop, which is what prevents sprains. Once you own it on two feet, try one. The classic mistake is holding onto something: without free hands there is no work.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
