Alternating Kettlebell Row
Back · Kettlebell
How to do it
Two kettlebells between your feet. Knees slightly bent and hips pushed well back until your torso is almost parallel to the floor, back flat and eyes forward. Grab both and row one towards your hip, leading with the elbow, while the other hangs; lower and swap. The resting one anchors you and acts as a counterweight, so the torso does not twist. You feel the lat on the working side and the whole lower back holding position. The classic mistake is lifting your chest on every rep: the torso stays still, only the arm moves.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
