Dips - Triceps Version

How to do it

Parallel bars, arms straight and **torso as vertical as you can**, elbows tucked and pointing back. Lower until the elbow makes about 90 degrees and press to lockout. The more vertical the torso, the more triceps and the less chest. You feel the back of the arm. If the shoulder pinches, cut the range or move to a cable extension.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
