Decline Crunch

How to do it

On the decline bench with your legs hooked, hands on your chest. Curl up only until your shoulder blades leave the pad and lower under control; do not rest your back on the bench between reps. The decline adds resistance at the start of the range. You feel the upper abs. You can hold a plate on your chest to add load.

Variants

The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
