Crunches
Core · Bodyweight
How to do it
On your back with knees bent and hands on your chest or temples without pulling on your neck. **Bring your sternum towards your pelvis** by curling the spine, lift only until your shoulder blades leave the floor, and lower under control. The range is short on purpose: a crunch is not a full sit-up. You feel the upper abdomen. The classic mistake is yanking your head with your hands.
Variants
The drawing shows one way of doing it, and the technique above describes that one. Almost every exercise has variants — standing or seated, the grip, the bench angle — and is still the same exercise: if you do it another way, write it in the exercise note and you will have it every time you train it.
